Etihad Rail
BRC Arabia supplied cut and bent steel reinforcement for Etihad Rail Stage 2, Package A, a critical 139km freight and passenger railway corridor connecting Ghweifat to Ruwais Junction in the Western Region of the UAE. The project forms part of the UAE’s landmark national rail network.
Etihad Rail Stage 2, Package A spans 139km along the UAE’s western coastline, connecting Ghweifat on the Saudi Arabia border to Ruwais Junction. The scope of civil works included underbridges, overbridges, road and camel underpasses, drainage and animal culverts, earthworks and lineside infrastructure across the full corridor.
BRC Arabia supplied precision-cut and bent steel reinforcement to meet the demanding structural requirements of this nationally significant project, working with sub-contractor United Gulf Contracting under the CSSK Joint Venture, comprising SK E&C and CSSC, as the appointed main contractor.
